How to choose a Professional Cleaning Company

The following ensures that you have asked the right questions:

*Do they have much experience?

I have cared for the finest of carpets and rugs for over 30 years.  Since the fall of 1981, I have been cleaning carpets and furniture under the same name, Care Rite.  I have seen and handled many specialty items and many unusual situations.  For any soiling conditions, whether the fabric is natural or synthetic, my experience makes Care Rite one of the most experienced cleaners in the Black Hills area.

*Do they have good references?

Care Rite Cleaning Specialists enjoys one of the best reputations in and around Rapid City. Professionals in the carpet industry, business and home owners exclusively refer my reliable and thorough services.  My references are available upon request.

*Do you get a good value for your money?

Never select a carpet cleaning company based on price alone.  Carpet cleaning is not cheap as some would like to think.  Think of the job as dollars per hours of work.  Cleaning 3 or 4 rooms for $99 that only takes them 30 minutes, is $198 per hour, WOW!  Their technique maybe is to advertise a low price to get in the door so their inexperienced and uneducated technician can up sell their low-quality, ineffective goods at higher prices than real professionals charge.

Cleaning 3 or 4 rooms will take me about 1½-2 hours and will probably cost around $125 – $160 and that includes a general deodorizer used during the cleaning process.  Quality carpet cleaning is not cheap, but will extend the life of your investment, and care for your carpeting in a way that will save you money in the long run.  The same time frames are true for all cleaning.

*Are they well educated in their field?

Sadly, most companies in our industry do not invest in educating themselves in their field.  The manager or owner may be educated and certified but uses inexperienced, uneducated, non-certified employees.  I’ve been certified since 1991 by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification – my # 14659) and adhere to the highest industry standards set forth by the IICRC.  Certification is a PhD in cleaning.

I do all the cleaning and regularly attend educational courses, certification schools, conventions, and study trade journals and books related to my industry.  Care Rite keeps abreast of cutting edge technology and changes that regularly occur in our industry.

*What kind of carpet cleaning systems do they use?

The equipment used is very important.  My carpet cleaning method is preferred by all leading major carpet mills.  Many cleaners use outdated equipment with components that do not work properly because of age or poor maintenance.  At Care Rite you can be assured that I use well maintained, state-of-the-art equipment.

The machines I use are the most advanced systems available today and have the CRI (Carpet and Rug Institute) Seal of Approval.  I also adhere to the highest industry standards set forth by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification.)  I use a “Rotary Jet Steam Extractor” so you can expect maximum soil removal and the pile of the carpet will be “standing tall” again, without over wetting your floor or fabric.

*Are they using top-quality products?

The Care Rite van is stocked with only the very best products from top manufactures, products that have the CRI (Carpet and Rug Institute) Seal of Approval.  I will examine each job then select and formulate the best specifically designed safe cleaning product for each situation and or your fabric type and cleaning needs.  I refuse to use discount products that tend to leave sticky residues behind and discolor the carpet.

You can be assured that our products are effective, efficient and safe for your carpet, the consumer, and the environment.  If a spot can be removed, our products will remove it.

 *Is their work guaranteed?

After having an uninformed, uneducated, or downright unscrupulous carpet cleaner in your home, the hardest part is getting them back to fix the problem.  Care Rite Cleaning Specialists offers a 100% No-Risk Performance guarantee.  I do not want to have anyone in our community not satisfied with the cleaning service experience they received.

*Do they offer a referral reward program?

Care Rite Cleaning Specialists wants to reward you for sending customers to us.  For each new customer you send to me, I will send you a 10% referral certificate for what they spend with us the first time.  You may use the certificate for cash or services.  And remember that we guarantee our work, so help your friends, neighbors and co-workers enjoy high quality carpet cleaning.
